According to WuSay, Swedish blockchain analysis company Global Ledger said that the operator of the sanctioned cryptocurrency exchange Garantex has launched a new trading platform Grinex.
Grinex is alleged to be operating in Russia, and Garantex is transferring its liquidity and customer deposits to Grinex.
The new exchange uses the same infrastructure and is promoted as a solution to circumvent sanctions. Previously, India arrested Aleksej Bešciokov, the main operator of Garantex.
