What are some properties that a token launch should have for you to consider it ethical / values-aligned and not decrease your excitement for the project?

How about a radical take on the fair-launch model: For a fully functional product in which incentives are properly aligned between stakeholder groups, airdrop 100% of the supply to active addresses. Then, let core-team members apply for funding from tokenholders along the lines of RetroPGF. Could that work?
