Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from mundanity. Case in point: AI will become boring as shit in your lifetime.

The physical world is zero-sum. Intellectual work isn't. A single well-placed idea can move anything. The longer your lever, the further you'll reach. Why I'm obsessed with infinite leverage (new on YouTube) https://youtu.be/OV4XREYYNTY?si=mWkmhxQ9l8RtvneM

I started building @tipdotmd alone and I must say it’s very refreshing. It’s mostly thanks to AI that I can augment myself to allow for this. I can’t do #1 and I admire people like that as well. #3 depends on context, some times are easier than others.

Exactly. You get to say no, and that's your decision to make.

I spent six months building software. Dashboards. Features. User logins. The whole circus. Then I wrote a Google Doc and put it behind a Stripe link. No code. Just one idea, explained clearly. It made more in a week than the app ever did. Clarity beats complexity. Every time.

The people yelling “why isn’t the media covering x-y-z” could become the media covering x-y-z in under 20 minutes. But indignation is easier than inquiry. And most people want attention for their outrage, not the truth.

The older I get, the more I admire: - people who stay offline - people who build alone - people who say no without performing why

People think solo businesses run on automation. Or delegation. Or the perfect tech stack. They don’t. They run on brutal clarity. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/joanwestenberg_people-think-solo-businesses-run-on-automation-activity-7348469019345121281-D-C9?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAFsHzRgBmenrK5Y1VXU7SZD_GfSUiOE-n7Y

Hustle culture was shallow, but at least it believed in effort. The over correction gave us cool detachment, low-stakes lives, and a fear of looking like we care. Trying is cringe. Failing is fine. Success is suspicious.

The 1929 crash gets blamed on bubbles. But the deeper issue was structural demand collapse. When you concentrate capital and flatten wages, the market eventually eats itself. Speculation was the symptom, not the disease.

Really enjoyed your video on this topic and reading through the description. Funny enough i noticed my note-taking style converges towards an auto-cleaning what-note: I use logseq with sequential daily notes mostyl and outdated things get pushed to the bottom naturally. I still like to keep them as references (for those "I recall that i read some article about this in the past"-moments), but noticed myself scrolling down less and less

Saving it for later, our brain strength is RAM memory yet we use it as a hard disk and later, we cannot walk without stepping into some metaphysical concept who is taking attention out of present.

You don’t need a second brain. You need to stop hoarding information and start thinking again. The First Brain Framework shows you how to delete everything, think clearly, and create more. It’s not gentle. It works. https://westenberg.gumroad.com/l/mselb

AI-generated sales copy has a weird tic: it tells you what something isn’t before it tells you what it is. This isn’t coaching. This isn’t software. This isn’t a product. Cool. So what the hell is it?

Every solo founder builds a prison out of their first success. The product that freed them becomes the product they can't kill. Optimization replaces invention. Scale replaces clarity. Eventually, they're managing their past instead of designing their future.
