That’s it. It’s foundational to the movement because it’s the first thing Trump highlighted when he came down the elevator back in 2015. It was the first thing out of his mouth, and it’s the first grievance most of his supporters at the coal face will point to.
I think it’s a pretty safe bet that Trump won’t want to appear weak to his base while a lot of the media are talking about how much influence Musk et al have on him, and as a result, immigration will be the hard line where he won’t shift.
