fun fact: for 87% of the total history of life on Earth (approx. 3.7 billion years), life evolved WITHOUT a brain. organisms didn't "think" or even process signals; they simply reacted to their environment through chemical changes. maybe a lesson in there. perhaps we should connect more to our bodies and trust there is a higher intelligence there, one we perhaps don't fully understand.
