For nomads: you don’t need to go to offline exchange shops at all to change Thai Baht in Thailand. I’ve tried several options myself, and Binance TH and Bitkub are by far the most convenient. As long as you have a long-term visa, you can register and use them without issues. The exchange rates are much better than street money changers, and since the funds come from regulated institutions, there’s no risk of your account being frozen. Both platforms offer similar rates. Bitkub is extremely popular in Thailand, while Binance TH was launched separately by Binance to comply with local regulations — it even seems to hold some shares in Bitkub. These two basically dominate the Thai market now. KYC is quite strict for both: Bitkub requires facial verification, and Binance TH may ask for bank statements or employment proof — all part of standard compliance.

Gm nomads. Such geographic arbitrage can only be found in Bangkok — freshly hand-pulled Lanzhou beef noodles for $1.54 (50 baht), a price I can’t even find in China.
