You wake up in your own body, live with your own thoughts, fight your own battles—but suddenly, one random comment from someone who doesn’t pay your bills has you spiraling. You’ll say, “I don’t care what anyone thinks.” Then spend 45 minutes picking an Instagram caption and re-editing a story post because someone might judge it. It’s wild. We trust ourselves enough to dream big, to want more out of life—but the moment it’s time to act, we start worrying: “What will they think?” “Will they laugh?” “Will I look stupid?” And for what? Most of “them” are just as confused as we are, winging life like everyone else. Here’s the truth: You’ll never be free until your opinion of yourself becomes more important than theirs. That’s not arrogance. That’s peace. So next time you find yourself hesitating because of other people’s opinions, ask yourself: “Whose life am I living—mine or theirs?”
