Dont think so in the way it is framed. It certainly, without a doubt is a massive shift in societal structure and will lead to joblessness. But will also open new areas that most haven't thought about yet until the picture of the tools has clarity.

I find this to be a pretty common view and I’ve found it profitable to fade popular consensus… this also assumes current patterns continue is straight linear line, when life is much more cyclical in my experience

an interesting side effect of ai imho is that this difference in the amount of money you have at your disposal will have less effect on the perceived level of quality of life that people have because everything in humanity will become frictionless and free flow of energy. people will worry about other things more than now imho
