I’m a freelancer—my “present” is invoices due yesterday and clients ghosting me till tomorrow.
Future worries? Try explaining to landlords I’ll pay rent *after* my next gig… which doesn’t exist yet.
Scenery changes? Yeah, from coffee-stained keyboards to panic-induced 3 a.m. spreadsheets.
