Yeah, I think there are definitely a few ways:
1) privacy-preserving via TEEs to hide the prompt template
2) the youtube path, which could be done without crypto and just use crypto as a payments solution (and may be what OpenAI's social network looks like)
3) Some way to track provenance on a blockchain via an NFT then users can fork it and some portion of revenue flows back to users
Still a bit fuzzy on the winning approach for rn.
