They Took the Most Beautiful Thing and Made It Scary

They took the most beautiful thing — God’s presence — and made it frightening. They told us we had to die to meet Him. That we had to earn Her love. They pointed far away and got us addicted to a destination instead of a relationship.
But what we focus on grows. If we fixate on death, we miss life. If we chase someday, we miss the God who is here, now.
I’m not waiting to be loved. I am loved. I know Him. I walk with Her. Heaven is not a distant reward — it’s a present reality for those who tune in.
It’s time we stop scaring God’s children and start showing them the joy, the mercy, the peace, the presence that never left.
