New rules should always be announced in advance before they are enforced.
Implementing rules first and explaining them later is no different from how a dictatorship operates.
It undermines users' trust in the predictability of the system, ultimately leading to a loss of confidence in the project itself.
The degen team has always worked hard, but by repeatedly making these policy mistakes, they are driving users away.
