The @theapostles is entering a new phase. The old app was a starting point. This new version is being rebuilt around a bigger idea: turning each Apostle into a playable character inside a Farcaster-native strategy RPG. Holders will form 3-Apostle Fellowships, send them on timed Journeys, upgrade their stats, manage energy, and eventually face other players in Trials: Clash of Convictions. The bigger vision is an economy around gameplay. - Journeys become the base reward loop. - Upgrades create progression. - Trials create competition. - The Tavern let unused Apostles become useful to other players. That is the loop. For everyone who used the old app and earned points: that data is safe. The old points program is not being ignored or erased. Those points will be carried forward and converted into the new game system as the app evolves. The exact conversion mechanics will be shared soon, but the principle is simple: if you participated early, that history will matter in the new Apostles game. Beta testing will start soon. The first test version will focus on the core gameplay loop: - forming Fellowships, - sending Apostles on Journeys, - testing upgrade logic, and - gathering feedback from holders. From there, we’ll keep expanding carefully in phases: Trials, rewards, token mechanics, economy balancing, and deeper Apostle utility. But the direction is clear: The Apostles are becoming playable.
