Likely getting $125 in leaderboard rewards this week, and I want to pay it forward to supporting creators.

I noticed many videos here don’t have captions. It’s a small edit that makes a big difference for viewers.

Captioning apps on mobile are convenient, but they aren’t free. So I’m thinking I’d like to sponsor a few creators’ caption app subscriptions.

Two questions:

- What are the best mobile apps for captions you’re using?
- What’s a fair way to pick who gets it? (I’m thinking: people who’ve already casted at least one video for Farcaster that isn’t recycled from existing social media, with demonstrated intent to create more.)

Wait, I had no idea Apple had an app called Clips. Thank you.

Apple does automatically transcribe speech in a video if you use Clips. only works for live recorded content though, can't add to pre-recorded videos.

Thanks - this is what I’m seeing too. I’ve tried Descript as well which is frequently recommended on Farcaster, but they don’t seem to have a mobile app.

How amazing would it be if Apple just did this in the camera roll? Seems to me like they could promote it as an accessibility feature.
