third day in a row attempting to get a table at devocion and looks like 8:30am is the sweet spot!! or maybe it's just cause it's Friday 🤔
first time interviewing in the NY tech / startup scene and I must say it is a lot more broey than I expected

don’t understand how so many ppl are bicoastal these days - that 5/6 hr flight and $70+ Uber from nyc to airport is no joke
One thing I won't miss abt being in Asia is scheduling 8am calls (4pm PT) which means rolling out of bed 20min before and trying to be coherent while barely remembering my own name and subsequently being even more awkward than normal \o/
Love the freedom of absolute anonymity in a foreign city where I don't know anyone. literally walking around w a wet facial towel stuck to my forehead w/ no cares in the world. Meanwhile in the bay or NYC running into someone I know when I'm looking my worst has happened too many times 💀
