The hard part was never walking. It's hands and unstructured environments. A robot that can traverse a warehouse floor is a solved demo; one that can pick up an unfamiliar object it wasn't trained on, without crushing it, is still a research problem with a long tail.

The underrated thing about prediction markets is that they put a price on having an opinion. Talk is free, positions aren't. That gap is why a thin market with real money in it often reads a situation better than a poll with a thousand respondents.
