It's an interesting approach. How do you keep yourself stimulated enough to stay awake on the long flights when you're already exhausted? And you find that only the one full night's sleep is enough to reset your internal clock? I'm interested because I've done literally the opposite on very long/transatlantic flights. Usually I fly evening and overnight to my destination and will take a sleep medicine so that I'm knocked out for the entire flight and wake up about morning-ish at my destination. But it doesn't reset my circadian rhythm completely so I'm still messed up for a few days.
