Setting up a personal website & blog is a bit overwhelming. There are so many options & it’s hard to know what you want to optimize for. I’m using Notion right now b/c I generally like the writing experience on Notion & use it for personal task management & notes already. There are definite limitations though, & I need to think through how I build an email listserv if my content lives on Notion.

In college, I spent a summer doing cold-calling for a value-added reseller (VAR) of HP and Dell hardware products. The cold-calling was less fun, but learning about the VAR model was worth it. When you talk to web3 teams, they just want their payment experiences to work. It shouldn’t take days of development work to set up a checkout experience. Shopify has been so successful b/c they make the entire process extremely simple. By choosing Shopify you know you’re not losing customers because of the checkout experience.
