ya it's hard to see how and when it cools down right now, they have got that flywheel going for real. I think $NOICE is the piece that kind of ties it all together, I expect them to start making a lot of noise soon, with also airdrop V2 coming soon I think ...

yep but that was when the model was clear - tipping, etc so people were loyal to it right now I think many see no reason to hold between now and September (tipping is being phased out) and even then, people have no idea what the token will do in the new product just need a clearer narrative to keep people in it for the next couple months

Fully agree! But … I am just saying I think if you can harness this sentiment in a cleaner narrative around $DEGEN about where it could be going in the future, it can ignite the community here. It’s a beautiful story, but I think it’s hard to connect the dots for where we have been to where we could be going in the future. It needs to be storified, visualized, and I think the token side of things will be the unlock on market pricing just my $0.02

well it seems to me like many are coming off and will likely stay off for some as tipping phases out but the next model is to capture a larger share of the internet, and has the ability to go parabolic imo without any reliance on the above parties

I don't know if I would use the word 'intentionally' but I don't think it fits in with their roadmap Base is all-in Content Coins and Zora, Farcaster is basically joined at the hip to Base imo, so what use is Degen to them? I am talking sentiment across the ecosystem, people talking about it in a positive way. Basically nobody talks about it positively, it has been abandoned by Farcaster and Base, and the price is going the wrong way while a lot of other good tokens are starting to move up.

it definitely has been tossed aside by Farcaster and by Base, but the comms through this process with the community have also not been great. Needs a spark within the community to make it so they can't ignore it, which they clearly do want to (the above players)
