To me, app coins are basically a public friends and family round. You assume it might go to zero, but you believe in the vision and the people enough to take the shot. 99% will fail. I have been using X more recently over the purple app these days. I still believe in the open protocol vision of social media, but we seem to be stuck in transactional value is the only value of this system, not meaningful connections.
