First thing in the morning and feeling lean. I’m also SLAMMING CARBS and getting leaner by the day. No fasting, no carb restriction (other than sourced from whole foods). NON FASTED glucose was 83 FYI. https://i.imgur.com/tRRwHZ1.jpg

4 weeks out from my 2nd Half Marathon. Recently I have increased protein and good carb sources, while keeping healthy fats in the diet. Body fat has dropped. Not much excess fat around the waist. Overall I’ve kept more muscle for this half marathon than the first. https://i.imgur.com/azY2Ti2.jpg

It’s easy to fail when you set unrealistic goals. You don’t have to be an Olympic athlete to achieve optimal health. Quite the opposite actually. A few repeatable habits done consistently will get most to their fitness goals.

Something to keep in mind when embarking on your fitness journey: Working out for 5 minutes is better than zero minutes. If you’re having an off day and you have a planned workout, tell yourself you’ll do just 5-10 minutes total. More of the than not, you’ll surprise yourself and may even do the whole workout!
