Earlier today, a friend shared where he was in his design process using the Double Diamond framework. I hadn't seen this before, looked it up later, and learned that the UK Design Council recently acknowledged that it's time to move beyond it because of AI's impact on design.

Wow! That’s interesting

Even though AI’s impact can change the nomenclatures, I think that at a fundamental level what double diamond, design thinking processes, etc. would still stay for are - understanding pain points, having a feedback loop with users, designing iteratively, etc. these would still remain. 

I wonder if nomenclatures might be evolving but the practice and the way to solve for pain points especially in UX space would be the same at a foundation level?
