Random thoughts on tokenized posts: Tokenized posts feel like user-generated content in the early 2010s. Creating feels strange and a little scary. Most people can't understand why anyone would want to create or consume it: "Why would anyone upload a photo of their food?">> "Why would anyone tokenize a photo of a handshake?" You really have to experience these tokens (create + buy) to understand the power of their ability to monetize and distribute content. Memecoins aren't new, and Pumpfun pioneered a lot, but the experience for tokens is still far from good. The content, token creation, discovery, and transactions are very disconnected. What happens when all this is in one place?  My short paragraph post is currently sitting at $1,341 in earnings from transactions. The post has 341 views. That's $3.94 per view. What does this look like for bigger and more in-depth ideas? Maintaining and growing a subscription newsletter is a slog. Writing coins might be another path for writers who want to focus on quality over quantity.  Every creator will tokenize posts differently. I hypothesize there will be three main strategies: - One token: a creator has one main token. Fans will expect the creator to keep investing in that token.  - Token flywheel: a creator has a main token, and post tokens roll up to this main token somehow. Maybe zora is the easy button for this.  - Everything's a token: a creator tokenizes every big post. Fans know the tokens are somewhat ephemeral and chase the next one. This feels like the most fun path. Product experiences and creators need to do more to cater to the buyers of these content tokens. Why will they keep buying these tokens if the majority go to zero? Kuaishou and Douyin have already figured this out with virtual gifts, where patronage changes the direction of the content and gives the buyer visibility. Post tokens need something like this. Patronage + speculation + entertainment + fame is a potent mix. It's still really, really early days, but I feel like a kid in a candy store with all these new tokens and mini apps.

Feels like we’re sleepwalking into an entirely new creators economy. We’re still very early
