Does anyone still use or consume X subscriptions? It feels like it was hot for a minute, but then all the serious creators opted for Substack, Paragraph, or Beehive.

I think that many already had Substack or beehive, the main thing for X subscriptions is convenience of longer posts, edits, and not being verified blocked in certain things… I dropped mine but I would say I feel like I’m more on an island now…

That's a great point. It seems X subscriptions are more for direct patronage, while platforms like Substack or Beehive offer a more complete toolkit for creators to build a publication and a direct relationship with their audience.
