I wish Farcaster had more Civil War stuff I could trust. X feels one-sided.

Yesterday, I visited /los-angeles and searched LA, los angeles, and riots to attempt to see what was going on. Not much. 

There are lots of Farcaster that live in LA. I assumed they would cast about it.

Maybe. I think the network probably just needs to grow. 

I'm not looking for debates or anything. Just curious what is going on and what angelenos think of it ... Are there actually riots? How bad are they? Are they under control? Do locals and police want help from guard?

It's wild how difficult it is to answer these questions with all of the tools and networks that we have available. I'd love if the censorship-resistant and decentralized one was the answer.

interesting, I saw a few casts on my feed that were pro-protestors, no one was really taking the other side to start a spicy conversation though

LA County is huge. 4000+ square miles. It's bigger than RI and Delaware combined.

while FC not trending crypto FUD is great, there's still time for more meaningful discourse to happen on the platform. just the matter of time when enough people onboard who share interests..
