my gasp prediction: sometime in Q2-Q3 the AI bubble will burst, OAI + Anthropic delay IPOs. Here's why: - Tokenomics are not sustainable on a colossal scale and are subsidized and hidden within mostly private companies. Token costs will not come down quickly enough vs. utilization. - Brutally Increased opex on tokens will not meaningfully improve bottom lines for many traditional software shops. - We will find some happy ground later this year, valuations will dip, ICs will have "token budgets", most ICs will not have access to good models, and the world will adjust. Spicy but quote me on this in 6-8 months
