The Crow and the Dead Girl.
In a forgotten village where fog never lifted and trees whispered secrets, a crow flew each morning to a lonely grave at the edge of the woods.
The grave belonged to a girl no one remembered—except the crow.
They said she had wandered into the forest one cold evening, following the sound of her mother’s voice. But her mother had died years before. Only the wind spoke that day, and the girl never returned. Her body was found weeks later, eyes open, lips parted like she was still listening.
The villagers buried her quietly. No family. No name.
But the crow came. First just once. Then every day.
It brought small things—shiny buttons, red berries, even a torn ribbon.
Some said it was her soul, trapped in feathers. Others believed it was the only creature that had loved her.
One night, a boy dared to wait by the grave. He watched the crow land, tap on the headstone, and caw three times. The earth shifted.
The next morning, the grave was empty.
Only a black feather remained. 0 reply
