I’m extremely skeptical of citizen journalists. One prominent “local reporter” has come out on the wrong side of every issue he’s covered in my town. He’s biased and outspoken and strangely always on the side of big local businesses. I hope he’s at least getting paid to shill since that’s what he looks like to the rest of us.
