I get that but gambling is a huge part of Nevada’s economy. This is a deterrent to gamblers. He voted against the interests of the state.

The converse of this is the bill gets bigger and bigger until it has something for every single rep and it’s worse for everybody long term…I see both sides but don’t think it’s necessarily better to always serve your constituents specific interests at the cost of everybody at large

I get your point that it’s hard to stop but I think he could have held up the vote for a day to remove the language. He probably could have generated enough support, the policy is not popular. Either he didn’t know it was in there or was willing to sell out Nevadans.
