I don't exactly know why, it just seems like some deep down thing that I can't entirely explain. I'm sure parts of my childhood play into it, but it might just be as simple as my brain REALLY liking having other people like me around and not wanting to invest the time, effort, and money into someone that will 100% feel alien to me Also, I don't think it's cope. In general more and more people are choosing to not have bio kids and choosing to adopt, or just choosing to not have kids at all

True The people using the degen app tipping are the ones switching in this scenario though, they’re already used to doing it on here + a lot of people don’t want to have to verify their phone number to tip with their own wallet lol

Should’ve clarified that the Elon stuff is the emoji replies he’s been doing, my bad. I honesty don’t think there very many people outside of the fc ecosystem that are holding it anymore, most if not all jumped ship a while ago because they saw the direction it was heading I do wonder if the degen names we minted for no reason will have some use in the app though, would be nice for it to actually have a tiny bit of utility instead of just being a cashgrab Looks like they’re requiring phone number verification in their app to tip with your own wallet too lmfao

It might, but higher seems like a better pick if people want a coin associated with Farcaster at this point. Stuff like Bankr, Noice, and Tipn are going to eat them alive when it comes to tipping people from your wallet too The retroactive rules, the unilaterally nuking allowances and then removing them completely, and the pivoting to the new hot thing that no one asked for all give of MAJOR moxie vibes I just really don’t see how any of the decisions made by Degen leadership are good long term (short term it might be a nice exit opportunity as emissions are 0), and Jacek is out here doing ChatGPT and Elon tier posts and replies lol. Doesn’t really inspire confidence
