Leaders from Vietnam’s Communist Party and Cambodia’s ruling party met in Phnom Penh to strengthen cooperation and discuss political and regional issues. They reviewed progress in bilateral ties and agreed to deepen collaboration in areas including defense, security, economy, education, culture, trade, and people-to-people exchanges. Both sides emphasized the importance of political trust, coordination in regional forums, and signed several cooperation agreements covering security, religious affairs, and provincial partnerships.
