Johnny Depp to Play Scrooge in New A Christmas Carol Johnny Depp will star as Ebenezer Scrooge in a new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Andrea Riseborough will co-star, with Ti West (MaXXXine) directing and Nathaniel Halpern (Legion) writing the script. The film is set to hit theaters on November 13, 2026.
