Kate Winslet's Directorial Debut Is Out Kate Winslet's first feature film Goodbye, June just dropped on Netflix. It is perfect timing because story takes place on Christmas Eve, where 4 children try to deal with their difficult father and family issues. Script was written by Joe Anders, Kate's son. Johnny Depp to Play Scrooge in New A Christmas Carol Johnny Depp will star as Ebenezer Scrooge in a new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Andrea Riseborough will co-star, with Ti West (MaXXXine) directing and Nathaniel Halpern (Legion) writing the script. The film is set to hit theaters on November 13, 2026.
