i’m team “late night creativity” and the only valid reason is that i get to have the time to myself, no distractions. The world is quiet and calm and that just unlocks my creative side. Also, i’ve just realized that i’m more productive at night, so i make use of that opportunity.

a few years ago, i got gifted this book and i put off reading it for a while until i finally did recently. it’s an amazing book about the beauty of love and sacrifice, amongst other things. One of the things that spoke the most to me was the importance of identity. The book highlights the struggles of maintaining one’s identity through external pressures and encourages staying true to your yourself and your values, and not lose yourself in the midst of all the craziness and uncertainty of the world. i keep that at the back of my mind and i’ve improved so much in maintaining my stance on not entertaining things that don’t conform with my values. i highly recommend reading this, maybe you’d find a thing or two that resonates with you✨💕

Appreciation - 15/12/24. Today, i appreciate; - my friends and my family. Lately, my mental health has declined significantly and on some days, i’m able to get up and push through but on most days, i feel completely unable to function. i’m constantly overwhelmed and struggling really bad to keep up with everything going on around me. Because of this, i took a very needed break off the app, just to gather myself. I’m not there yet, but i know I’m going to get there soon and it’ll all work out. Just wanted to share because it lightens the load and i know i’m not the only one so others can feel comforted with me voicing out about it. Thank you for taking the time to read. i love you.🫶🏽✨
