i love traveling to the most obscure places. not only are they often cheaper, less crowded, and more rugged - but you get a more authentic “first timer” experience. often when i go somewhere new, i ‘feel’ like i’ve already been there - even if i haven’t - simply because i’ve seen it a million times on social media. getting off the beaten means no preloaded expectations. no mental frame of reference to compete with. just raw, unfiltered appreciation for somewhere new. feeling for some new adventures to the world’s least explored destinations.
