thank you @tldr and team for one of the most fun experiences on farcaster (or any social app, for that matter). i’m sad to see it end like this but glad to have been along for the journey since the beginning. what you built was truly special and there are a lot of ppl who were rooting for you and having fun doing it. — tangent — one thing i’m trying to sit with, from a token-holder perspective, is my role and relationship to app coins and meme coins in general. i’ve historically parsed the two because memes are for trading and app coins are for taking a bet on founders you believe in. i’ve been decently exposed to base app coins. with recent pivots / mergers / shut downs / etc (clanker, native, bracky, eggs, zora [ ____ ] there are a lot of lessons to be gleaned. what those lessons are, i haven’t fully processed yet. some opinions strongly held: 1) no crying in the casino 2) app coins are in the casino, just in a different section 3) i don’t think builders shouldn’t have the room to experiment; they need to be able to fail 4) failure is when their integrity matters. comms and actions speak volumes but i digress. this post was about bracky and Tim. and no one can ever accuse Tim of not giving his best effort, esp to his longest-term supporters. he gave it his all with a level of equanimity that’s rare in this space, and i look forward to seeing what he builds next and hopefully catching him for a beer at a future event. i built many special memories with @bracky this past year, but none greater than the last wager i made … on the Seahawks to win the Super bowl. thank you, tldr 🍻
