The Oriental Elegy and the Northwest Wilderness in the London Church
Pianist Guo Xinyi, based in the UK, performed the original works "Elegy" and "Flower on the Island" with the Chinese and British Orchestra at St. James' Church. The pipa and Kunqu Opera collided with "钗头凤", and the opera and singing were mixed with symphony. Audience: "The performance of 'A Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix' under the church dome moved me to tears!" 2
