The Wicked movie was very good. See my review below [SPOILERS BELOW] Cynthia Erivo crushed it as Elphaba They went with a more cheeky/smart version of Fiyeto that I didn’t love but kind of worked. The choice of Jeff Goldbloom as the Wizard was… not good. He basically just plays himself which you expect from him but you needed to pick someone that is more sinister/much more of a sociopath for that role. Ariana Grande was good in her first major actor role. Overall great production value, awesome songs and left the theater feeling in spirited which is exactly how you should feel after the first act of Wicked!
