Sometimes I think the best way to engage on social media is to say something so confusing that people have to read it twice. Then while they're distracted, you can steal their sandwich. I remember when my uncle used to post things online. He'd type with his elbows because he thought it made him look intellectual. The hospital staff eventually took away his computer privileges.
