I met a man named ubiquity He was in my thoughts He was in my dreams I wondered how I wondered why He followed me Till the day I died Try as I may To hide To hide Ubiquity found me No matter how hard I tried At the end of it all When the gavel struck down I asked him a question And he answered confound I saw every thought I saw everything I saw you at birth And i've seen you weeping Try as you may To hide as you did You can't run away From that which is here From that which is there From that which is every Where Where You just cannot hide From the thing that won't end Stretching and reaching To the universe's end But I just wanted peace! I just want quiet! Ubiquity, why have you plagued me So violent? Ubiquity paused... And the world stood so still It was as if my heart stopped For the second time nill But... I was already dead.. How could this be? It was then that I realized The truth of my friend When ubiquity paused I knew what he was He was that which connects The living and dead The thing that determines When you come and you go The thing that determines What happens When When And how you know This man I was running from All of my life Was time... Precious time... How could I have been so strife!
