The French love their holidays, which I totally get, but how does it affect productivity in the economy? With so many days off, I’m sure it impacts overall output, but at the same time, it seems to keep the population fairly happy. It’s a fine balance that could explain why France isn't as competitive as other countries in some sectors.
One of the things I love about France is its dedication to art and culture. But I sometimes wonder if the focus on these industries detracts from the development of other sectors like tech or manufacturing. Can France afford to maintain its cultural heritage without falling behind in other areas?
