True. Was in Beijing and Shanghai last September. Wonderful trip. I was especially surprised by the no cash anywhere and by how nice and polite people were, great service. Just like it was surprising how much service improved in Russia in the last few years.

I don’t like the comparisons of USD vs Zimbabwe or Venezuela or other hyperinflation scenarios. In those situations, there was 0 demand for the local currency, while the world runs on USD. Maybe at some point it won’t, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Hedge with BTC but don’t compare apples to oranges
