x402 is kinda wild if you think bout it most ai tools hit a paywall or force you into some subscription maze this thing flips the whole idea you ask the agent for something it checks the tool the tool says 402 payment required so the agent just pays on chain in that moment no login no api key no monthly bill it’s like giving your ai a wallet and letting it unlock stuff on demand pay once for exactly what you need nothing extra real time payments for api calls feels small but this changes how agents will use the internet elsa rolling this out already tells me they’re building for a future where ai isn’t stuck behind paywalls it just moves it just pays it just works hard to explain but x402 feels like the start of ai behaving more like a real user than a bot we’re gonna look back at this and realize this was a big shift
