I like to see what games people are playing. The events are cool but I feel like I'll never be able to make them due to scheduling. I'm not sure about collecting things but I'm not a big collector. I might be interested in supporting indie game devs for games that look promising.

would love to see it somehow connect accounts of users across online tabletop game platforms or make joining a game with fellow casters easier, perhaps via a frame. The recommendations portion of the channel content seems pretty good

I think that we need something for people to return to this thread at least once in a few days (once per day eveb better). I prefer some rubrics or parts like - game reviews from players (what they likes and dislikes) - bg memes of course :) - ministires painting section (i do it myself sometimes and its interesting

Overall I’m really liking the thread. If there was one bit of feedback, it would be limiting the pinned posts to one or two max. That way you get into the new posts.

I'd be interested in potentially discussing gaming strategies - some cool hacks etc. that folks may have learnt. Could host a timed event for stuff like this. For e.g. - m stuck on chess ratings for a while now and YT videos aren't the best source.

Slow to the party, but do we have a way to discuss building our own games? In my own research everything seems to point to using Kickstarter etc. If there are more ideas it would be great to find them here.

4. Someone else suggested supporting indie game creators. I think that is a great idea. For example, one of the things I’m working on is a board game. When I’m ready, I would love to share more and even organize playtests. What if we organized a TTG founders pitch on what they're creating?

3. Organize online events. For board games, BGA turn-based makes it easy. However, it would be cool to do a "Warp /Tabletop Con". Make it an all day event. Organize some events - board games, RPGs. I’ll offer to run some tables.

1. Keep this channel open so that it doesn’t require spending warp to post (I think I saw that Warpcast was making that a feature?). Growing the channel is the most important piece, and I feel that limits engagement from people who might want to cast. Maybe do a yearly β€œfund this channel” instead?

The cost of miniatures and expansions for some games can be a barrier to entry for new players. We can have more affordable ways to get started and the learning curve for some games can be steep. there could be better in-game tutorials or resources especially for beginners.

As someone that only occasionally visits the channel, I feel quite lost. I like that there are events, but I have no idea how they are scheduled. So maybe a more detailed description or perhaps a pinned post could make it more clear about what we could expect from the channel.

6. Come up with fun, creative competitions (have people post photos of their game room or game shelf, writing contests, treasure hunt/puzzle, etc.) Much like you’re doing with this post, solicit ideas and give some $degen to the best ideas that you’ll use.
