Blockchain is a digital technology for storing data that is transparent, secure, and very hard to manipulate.
Imagine a digital notebook:
• Every transaction is recorded
• Records cannot be changed or deleted easily
• Anyone can verify the data
Why is blockchain important?
• No need for middlemen (banks or third parties)
• More transparency and security
• Data is stored across many computers (decentralization)
This technology powers:
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Base, NFTs, DeFi, and Web3.
