While the competitors chased speculators, the Base chased real users. Coinbase Wallet as a gateway. USDC as a payment rail. Protocols that work - not that promise to work.
The result: 46% of all DeFi's TVL in L2s is at the Base. Together with Arbitrum, the two concentrate more than 75% of everything that is actively in use.
It's not a coincidence. It's distribution.
When you put an L2 inside an exchange with 100 million registered users, organic growth is not a strategy.
It's inevitable.
