So happy to share this. Thanks to @vitalik.eth we are able to fly provisions and medicine to otherwise inaccessible areas of the frontline ⛑️🫂🇺🇦 The heavy-lift drones are equipped with Starlink mounted on top and can carry up to 15 kg for distances of around 10 km. These are mostly used at night to avoid being intercepted. Along with ground robots, this is the best way to reach certain areas within the kill zone and provide lifesaving supplies without risking lives. So proud to see @crystalhearts name written on it 🥹🤍 Also, it’s wild to see the technological progress. Just a few years ago we would literally drive in an unarmored car straight toward areas of active combat to drop off supplies to medics and help civilians (and I’m still kinda shocked I’m alive when I think back to it). Now we can use drones and robots to do this work. Of course, technological advancements are also the reason things are so risky now for aid workers and medics with all the drone warfare, but that’s a whole other conversation. Today I want to talk about the positives and how technology helps save lives and provide support in the conditions of absolute hell 🙏 I know that as one person I don’t have the power to stop this war, but what I can do is my absolute fucking best to make sure more people survive it, receive medical help, and make it out of this alive.
