Elon just confirmed X Money is entering beta, bringing banking and payments into a centralized super app. With 41 licenses and massive reach. Meanwhile, Farcaster bets on identity ownership or developer freedom. It’s smaller, but more aligned with Web3 values. Still, if we want real adoption, maybe it’s time to ask, should Farcaster experiment with more incentives, a token or something better? Decentralization won’t win on principles alone.
