Lane Splitter is fun, but Its a “sprite scaling” technique. This means you’re always heading down the road in whatever direction the road is heading. and can only really shift left/right in your predetermined lanes. I’m experimenting with what a “Mode-7” racer would look like (think SNES-era F-zero or Mario Kart) while staying true to my 2D roots.
