my funniest $L (now that i think of it) and pretty much my biggest so far: staking a cosmos token 🥲 got the airdrop, took profit ofc but not enough. staked the rest in hopes of the next big one. guess what ? it never came... the ones that did amounted to nothing, all while said token kept digging for crude oil. eventually unstaked and used what was left to survive at the time. the ticker is dym.

I missed an NFT mint a few years ago, sent some ETH to be on the whitelist. Turned out the team made a deal for the NFTs with a VC group and I ended up not getting the NFT. And lost the ETH. What's funny is that I only lost the 10% down. The people who got the mint paid full price and ended up losing a lot more than I did. 😊

Funniest? You decide. A couple weeks ago, I moved a sizeable amount of ETH the other day out of a DeFi position. You know where the price was then. The goal was to derisk. I wanted to have the collateral ready in case we dropped further and I needed to cover other leveraged positions. But, liquid ETH that doesn't yearn yield burns my pockets. It's not even rational. It's instinctive. I have one protocol in mind for low risk lending. Euler, on Base. I go to their website. Click through the steps. Then I notice they only take wETH, not ETH. Yes, I could have swapped myself. But I was thinking in general about easy UX improvements you can make to protect your users. I write a Twitter thread about it. Euler developers even thank me about it, good sports that they are. Meanwhile, I throw my ETH in Impermax. It's a small protocol, but I trust the devs there. Back in 2021, they've shown an approach to security beyond many others. I trust them almost blindly by now.

Diamond handed 2 diamond grade battle boobas on AVAX chain in 2021 - the boobas NFTs generate a ton of $MILK and could be used to upgrade the boobas which generate moar $MILK and so onz, i could have exited with a $W but i thought of milking it (pun) further and end up losing a 4 digit $L. Could have been a super degen winner but they screwed up the tokenomics, but the story is too good not to degen in 👇

An $L is very rarely funny but one my of my not so bad $L that can be considered that would be when i spent 3 months in the Solana trenches trading memecoins, generating about 20 sol profit and loosing them all in a stake / liquidity pool for a #2 runner up in a niche ponzi-type token that ended up going -99%. Yes, my tokens and sol were still there but the token was worth close to nothing so i got back like 10$. Damn

Im in with the lunch money and Recasting this for better reach. well my funniest $L recently is all about the Noice, Goddamn I was on 1M marketcap buy and paperhanded on 1.3m mc buy, why? Because I was cooking dinner and I have ptsd leaving my bags unattended, then seeing it to 15m marketcap the next day makes me want to vomit 😂
