Many projects reward NFT stakers or holders with airdrops because these users demonstrate stronger commitment and alignment with the ecosystem. Staking signals long-term support and reduces speculation, making participants ideal candidates for rewards. Projects may also view NFT staking as a proxy for loyalty and community contribution. However, not all airdrops prioritize NFT stakers—some focus on liquidity provision, governance, or cross-chain activity instead. To assess likelihood, one should examine the project’s design: if NFTs play a core role in governance, membership, or protocol usage, stakers are more likely to qualify. Ultimately, NFT staking increases chances but does not guarantee eligibility, as distribution logic varies across ecosystems. Consistent ecosystem participation across multiple dimensions remains the safest approach.
